My style is all about creating an environment in which you and your family can relax - as I always say, I am shooting you with a camera, not a gun!

I will have you fill out a little questionnaire before your session to help me know more about you and your family and guide me to the best locations for your shoot.

I am a natural and available light shooter. Basically what this means is that I do not use a flash or a fancy lighting rig 99% of the time.

I do not shoot in a "studio" - there will be no cheesy backdrops or forced posing. I will not ask you to look at the light and think of seahorses (Napolean Dynamite, anyone?!). Instead, I will sit on your front lawn and ask your son about his favorite cartoon or your daughter about which Jonas Brother is the cutest - anything to get those real smiles you see on a daily basis.

I believe that the photography experience should be fun and reflect your personality - that - not what that crazy photographer lady was trying to force you to be!
